Double Pocket Pouch

This pouch was demonstrated at Regionals on Friday.  I tried my best to write down the directions as fast as I could!! and I got it!! Some I had to guess but I was soo glad I remembered and figured it out once I got home.

Here is my attempt to explain how I made this.
This is my first tutorial so be nice ;) hehee.

Start out using a 12x12 piece of double sided paper.

Score one side at 3 1/2 and 8 1/2, flip and then score this side at 1, 5 1/4, 6,
 6 3/4, and 11.  Fold in the 1" and 11" scored lines.

Next turn your paper and fold in the 3 1/2 and the 8 1/2 scored lines.  Snail the edge of the top fold.
It should look this this.

With your seam up, fold in  your 5 1/4, 6, and 6 3/4 scores lines. (as shown below)
Next snail your 1" borders together along the inside.

Then, decorate and put together a few Cello Bags and your done!  In the front pouch I put a bag full of ribbon and the back pouch I put a bag with some candy!

If you have any questions, please just ask!!! :)

Cookie Tin, Band-Aid Tin, Card

Here is a cookie tin, band-aid tin, and card I made using Pretty Amazing.

The cookie tin I stole from my mom tonight!!  I thought wow this would be fun to decorate.  I have no idea where she got them (probably Costco).  The butterfly and humming bird are colored in with chalk.  I also finally opened my Pretties Kit and put a little something together and tied it with ribbon.

The Band-aid tin I bought from Oriental Trading.  I was upset to find out that there is no handle on the top :(

Stamps: Pretty Amazing
Paper: Berry Bliss, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Same
Accessories: Brads, Ribbon, Pretties Kit

Mothers Day Gifts

WOW have I been busy!! I decided this year that I would make all my gifts. It definetly was a blast, but a lot of work. The first thing I started on was the coaster pen holders. You can see a larger picture of one in another post below. Second, I started on the CD Calenders. I got the idea from my upline. She gave them as gifts a while back. Leave me a comment if you want the format for the calenders. (I dont have it on me right now). Next, I covered note pads with dp and then added a punch of ribbon. Stamped "notes" in various SU! Alpha Stamps. Then, I stamped the candles. This was my first time stamping on candles and it was a lot of fun. I found the tutorial here. It was very easy. Thanks Jenni for the great tutorial!!! Lastly, I put together the cork board. My dear stalker friend Andria had made one and I just LOVED the idea.

I hope all you moms had a wonderful Mother's Day!!:)

She covered the lunch tin and then put dividers inside with all of the cuttlebug embossed background templetes. She did like 15 colors in each!! I LOVE IT. Thank you Annette. You're the best!!

Ways to Use Coasters!!

Sorry to my stalker friends that haven't received there coasters yet. I promise they will go out in the mail today. I laughed so hard today when I saw the challenge. I felt bad that I hadn't gotten them out yet.

Anyways, on SCS todays challenge was to use Coasters (any way you liked)

This is what I came up with from the help of Allee (thanks a million).

I'm going to make a few more for my Mothers Day baskets! I think it would be a nice touch! (Hopefully none of you are looking at this because you might get one)

Spring Mini Candle

So one of my gf's is sick. I went home during lunch today to make her a card, then I saw this candle just sitting there as I had some Spring Paper on my desk. I figured instead of making her a card like ALWAYS I would decorate this candle for her. She is going to be bummed that she can't actually "use" it hahaha. She always has a candle burning in her house.

I bought the white candle from Michaels, I think for $2.99. The paper I used is from the Spring Mini Catalog. The stamp set I used was Best Bar Codes with Regal Rose Ink. The ribbon is also SU!

I really hope she likes it.
