Okay, how cool is this right?? I made this last night and a demo meeting I go to once a month!! This is the small size paint can. We decorated the outside, the lid, and then made a tag to put inside. The SU! colors are Bravo Burgundy and Rose Red. The Dp is non SU! All the ribbon was from American Crafts. The tags were made with the SU! Punches and the sets used were Tags So Much.

RAKS

Yesterday I was sooo excited. I got two RAK's in the mail.

This one is from my amazing gma Faith, AKA Markies Mom. She really isn't my gma, although I wish she was. She is such an amazing person. She is so full of spunk!! Her cards are amazing. You can visit her blog HERE.

Quick Card

I wish I could have done more then 1 card, so I could have made a set. But, we woke up so late today. We usually get up around 6. Tommy gets into the shower and I start breakfast! Well those both came today, but it did cut into my stamping time. I usually do my challenge card once Tommy leaves for work. I have about an hour to get it done! Well today I really had only 10 minutes! This challenge couldn't have come at a more perfect time!

I had this paper out still from yesterday. Its from We R Memory Keepers. Its so fun! I stamped in Night of Navy, Happy Birthday, from Best Bar Codes! I used some silver cord for a little more jazz!! The Make a Wish is from Mini Mates.

I hope everyone has a great Monday. I really need to get back to work now. Lots to do today. Hopefully I can make some more after work today and post a set! XoXo

WOW was this fun or what?? LOTS of work but so worth it!! :)

Today on SCS's Inspiration Challenge, we were challenged to make a card inspirated by this cake!
I started out with whisper white cs. I cut it into three pieces for the different cake layers. I cut at an angle. The bottom of the cake I used the circle in Little Pieces and stamped directly onto the ww and then I used my 3/4" circle SU Punch and put those circle on dimensionals. I added fun ribbon for the berrys. Then I used Pixie Pink CS for the middle layer. I added SU! Ribbon for the bow. The top layer was stamped using Looks Like Spring. The stars are stamped from Teeny Tinies in Pixie Pink, Basic Black, and Real Red. I also added more berrys between these two layers!
Hope you like!! Have a wonderful weekend gals!! XoXo

Patriotic Flowers

Today's Limited Supply Challenge, we had to use Patriotic colors, but without ANY patriotic stamps. My free set for signing up yet ANOTHER demo came yesterday so I was excited to put those together!! I haven't gotten new rubber in a while now!
This set is a level 3 hostess set that is coming out in the new Fall/Winter 2007 Catalog!
The dp I got from Tommys mom for Christmas last year. Its so pretty with the gold on it!! The ribbon is SU! I used Night of Navy CS and Ink. I used my prismacolor pencils for the vase water. For the flower I used my prismacolor markers. The brads are Making Memories.
Thanks for looking and have a HAPPY FRIDAY!! XoXo

Challenge Journal

Lately, it seems I've been missing challenges so I thought if I kept this in a journal I could go back and do them when I had a chance. Today I have a chance to go back and do some, but I didn't feel like searching! So the idea came to play!!!The notebook I bought at Mike's for $1! The base of the journal is So Saffron. Other CS colors are Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, and Bashful Blue....I used SU! Markers and Chocolate Chip Ink! The dp is also SU! From the spring mini. Thanks for looking!!

Bloomin' in a hurry....

For todays color challenge we got to use, chocolate chip, cameo coral, certainly celery, and an optional color which I didn't use.

I was in a huge rush doing this card. I went home on my lunch break to finally stamp!! I was very excited. I started out with plenty of time then the phone rang! I rushed to throw it together and out of the house I went.

Hope you like it more then I do!! hahah XoXo

I'm going crazy........

So I haven't been able to make a card since Thursday Night!! I'm going crazy!!! We were so busy this weekend with Birthday parties and riding!! Now for the second day in a row, SCS has posted challenges after I leave for work :( I try to get them done after Tommy leaves for work and before I have to get dressed. Hopefully tonight I will have some time after work to get caught up!!!

Here is a card I made last week to send to my upline! Isn't it cute?? Love those girls so much! I didn't want to post it last week because she would see it hehe. Anyways, the card base is on So Saffron. The stripe paper is SU! I also used Bashful Blue and Regal Rose. I then added a few brads and used my circle punch!!
I figured I would share a few more pictures with you guys to get a little caught up on my blog!!

On Saturday we went to a birthday party for Tommys nephew. We bought him a little toy quad. I think he might have liked the box a little better!! haha.

This is Tommy and his cousin Craig, putting the bike together!!

Here we are Sunday morning getting ready to go on a 70 mile bike ride. This was my first "big" trip. I did manage to fall 1 mile before our destination. The destination was to go eat at a little old fashion Ice Cream Shop. When I fell I managed to break my clutch lever AGAIN!!! But, this time I didn't get hurt so I was excited except the fact that Tommy made me ride his bike back. I was a little scared at first, but toward the end I was having more fun!

Well hope I caught you gals up a little!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday! XoXo

Embossed Background Card

Today's challenge was to make a card with a background. Catch was we couldn't use our regular background stamps or any small background stamps. So I decided to pull out my Big Blossom set. I just love those big flowers. I embossed the flower in pink. I then needed a big image for the little bo bo I made (I'm tired leave me alone, haha). Stampin' Fun for Everyone was still sitting on my table from the other day so I thought I would use her so I could do some coloring!! I just love it since I have those amazing Prismacolor Pencils!!! I then added a punch of brads!!! My fav!!

CD Shaker Cards

So my upline, Annette, abtalpas, came over tonight and we made these adorable CD Shaker Cards. I'm not sure who to give credit to as she had the directions for us printed out. We did change a lot of it to make it ours though ;) hehee

For Crab and Co Card we used Pixie Pink and Gable Green Cardstock.

Cut the Pixie Pink at 5 1/4 x 10 3/4, then score in half (Card Base)

Cut the Gable Green at 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 (Base Layer)

Then cut a piece of Whisper White at 4 7/8 x 4 7/8 (Card Insert) This is the piece you are going to insert inside the CD Wallet!!

After we cut all the cardstock we started decorting the Card Insert. We used Prisma Color Pencils and gamsol to color everything in. We cut up a bunch of little ones and threw them inside the wallet to shake!

We weren't done yet we had to make another!!! Thats when we got our Voila!

The CD Wallets are 5x5. You can find them at Target, Best Buy, etc! 100 for about $14
Our standard 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Envelopes work AMAZING for these!!!!

Thanks for looking!!! XoXo!

Happy Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for today's sketch challenge. I'm going to be giving this to a girl that attends the demonstrator meetings in my town. I had her colors in mind.

The paper is from MME. I haven't been trying to pull it out as often because I find whenever I use it I don't get to stamp to much. The card base is Pumpkin Pie. The sets I used were Doodle This and Doodle That. The ribbon is from Joanns. I used my word window punch and then stamped from Small Sayings. Added some brads around the card and used my ticket rounder punch. The flowers are colored with Prisma Water Color Pencils.

Thanks for looking! XoXo
