Here is my card for today's sketch challenge. Once I read the challenge I told myself I need to use a set I haven't used before to make it more of a challenge. Lately all I have been using is Big Blossoms.

I've been home sick for the last three days so the card didnt turn out as well as I would have liked. I'm glad I'm at least feeling a litle better to go in my stamp room.

Spring Mini Candle

So one of my gf's is sick. I went home during lunch today to make her a card, then I saw this candle just sitting there as I had some Spring Paper on my desk. I figured instead of making her a card like ALWAYS I would decorate this candle for her. She is going to be bummed that she can't actually "use" it hahaha. She always has a candle burning in her house.

I bought the white candle from Michaels, I think for $2.99. The paper I used is from the Spring Mini Catalog. The stamp set I used was Best Bar Codes with Regal Rose Ink. The ribbon is also SU!

I really hope she likes it.

Photo Wallet

I really wanted to use up some more of our camping pictures from last season before this season came and because I usually take tones!!!

I used Cool Caribeen and Close to Cocoa. The stamps I used are Happy Camper and the Pines Wheel. This would be a very easy project for a workshop!

I'm sad the weekend is over....

...and back to work tomorrow we go. Well except you LUCKY SAHM's. Well I guess maybe if I had kids I could do that too.

Anways, I had to make 50 bridal shower invitations for a dear friend of mine. At first I was like what did I get myself into. They turned out to be really fun and I got into it BIG TIME.

I just hope the other 50 girls like them as much as I do. I use the Doodle That set from SU! I used my slit punch for the scalloped edge. They were actually very easy to make.

YAY It's Friday-Post it Purse

I cannot believe how cold it is here today in So Cal. I guess this is why I keep using the same colors in my projects?? I feel so cold, but yet so spring. Anyways, this is a note pad purse I made. I looked everwhere on SCS for the deminsions, but never could find anyone that had posted them.

This is how I did it. I used So Saffron CS and cut it to 3 1/2 x 11. I scored at 5 1/2" and then again 1/2" on each side of the middle score. I decorated it using Big Blossom (of course, since I'm feeling spring), Certainly Celery Ink, and Regal Rose CS and Ink. I used the word window to cut the handle. I slipped on the note pad inside then used Rose ribbon to top it off!

Isnt it cute?? I think I am going to make a bunch of these and pass them out around the office since I'm having trouble finding customers!!!

Spring Workshop

So, I've been playing a lot lately and decided that I should put together a card box to hold cards. Isn't it cute? I want to put ribbon on it like the standard tote bags found on SCS.
