Here is a candle I made for my workshop last night. I gave it away as a door prize. It was so easy and such a hit.
The Candle is from Mikes, $1.99. I love the lime green!! I crimped the black piece of CS then wheeled Batty on a piece of Whisper White. I layered it with Lovely Lilac. I then added the Batty for You image with the scallop punch.
The ribbon was added to top it off!
Thanks for looking

VSN Weekend! Day Two!
VSN is so much fun. For those of you that haven't tried it you really need to. Challenges are posted every hour. You have 45 minutes to complete each one! Then 15 minutes to either upload, it, or clean up!
This card challenge was to put as many things on the card that feel great! Like embossing, fibers, etc.
I used the Su! Set True Friend, along with Real Red, Basic Black, and Whisper White SU! CS! The Main image flower is embossed and so is the sentiment. The fibers are sooo soft. I just love that stuff!!! The background is ran through the cuttlebug for an extra touchy feel!!
For the next challenge we got to stamp on candles. If you haven't tried this its soo easy. The directions can be found here!
I used my SU! Markers to color onto the Tissue Paper. They worked out great! I think I'll make all different sizes and use them as a center piece for Thanksgiving!!!
I used the Su! Set Autumn Harvest along with a Pumpkin Pie Su Marker and Close to Cocoa Stamp Pad.
For the next challenge we were asked to make a farewell card. I choose to send a card to my friend Alicia will be be moving in a month to Portland. Its a pretty big move for her! I'm very excited for her.
I used the Fabulous Flower SU! Set. Along with SU! Designer Paper, Regal Rose, and Close to Cocoa Stamp Pads and CS!
This challenge was to make an Autumn Themed Waterfall Card. The directions can be found here.
I used the New SU! Halloween Paper!! This stuff is soo cute. I also used the Scallop Punch. The set I used was Batty for You! I used Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, and Whisper White Su! Stamp Pads and CS!
Good luck making your own!! Its a bit tricky at first!
For my last challenge I did we had to create a card the reminded us of the movie "Its a Great Pumpkin" Well I had never seen the movie before but from the pics I saw online there were lots of leafs. Soooo I drug out my Autumn Harvest set and created a scene that looked like one from the movie. I masked all the pumpkins. I just love these technique with this set. It looks so real and amazing.
Well thats it for my VSN Weekend!!!! Hope you had just as much fun looking at my cards as I did making them!!!
Happy Monday!!!

She came up with the Ink, Spray and Smash Technique. You can visit her blog here for directions. Isn't she amazing. I love ya gma!!!
